Enable Glasgow is a community based charity working with adults with learning disabilities and their carers and families in Glasgow. We are currently recruiting for a full time Night Shift Coordinator (37.5 hours per week) to join our skilled staff team at our Esmond Street Advanced Support Service in the Yorkhill area of the city. Esmond Street is currently the only service of its kind in the city, providing a high quality 24/7 supported living service to 22 adults with learning disabilities who are older and/or have advanced needs.We are looking for staff members who share Enable Glasgow’s values in promoting the rights of individuals with learning disabilities to live fulfilling and meaningful lives. Experience in a supported living setting, the ability to work on own initiative, and a positive, empowering and flexible approach to the support of people with learning disabilities are also essential. The post requires the successful candidate to be involved in the support supervision of the staff team and the coordination of duties and tasks, as well as playing a lead role in the maintenance of service standards. It is preferable to hold an appropriate qualification, or to be willing and able to achieve this within an agreed timescale.
