Temporary Savings Administrator
π Tonbridge | π4 days per week | π 2-Month Contract | £19.54 per hour

We are currently seeking a Temporary Savings Administrator to join a busy and supportive team in Tonbridge. so candidates with banking experience at any level are encouraged to apply.
Working hours are 08:30 to 5:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
4 working days: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday.
This will be in a lovely office with access to parking, the town centre and local amenities.
The Role
As a Temporary Savings Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the Savings Team in a high-volume environment. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to savers while ensuring all processes are handled accurately, efficiently, and in line with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email, and correspondence
- Process customer contact forms promptly and accurately
- Carry out Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks on personal and business accounts
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on internal systems
- Support with preparing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) where required
- Liaise with internal departments including Compliance and Lending Administration
- Provide management information relating to customer activity when required
- Assist with general administration including data entry, filing, scanning, and mail merges
- Support marketing data cleansing and communications
About You
We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
Essential:
- Experience of working in a banking/professional services environment
- Understanding of AML procedures
- Strong data entry and administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
Desirable:
- Knowledge of savings products
- Experience with mail merge
- Understanding of banking systems and processes
- Customer service qualification
