Job Description Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Prepare payment runs and ensure compliance with company policies. Maintain and update purchase ledger records as required. Assist with month-end processes, including ledger reconciliations. Respond to supplier queries and liaise with internal departments as needed. Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc administrative duties. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company procedures. The Successful Applicant A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have: Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role within the healthcare industry. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Proficiency with accounting software particularly XERO A methodical approach to problem-solving and data analysis. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and colleagues. An understanding of purchase ledger processes and financial regulations. What's on Offer Competitive hourly rate between £14.00 and £16.00, depending on experience. Temporary contract offering flexibility and valuable experience.
