Start Date: ASAP Interviews: 3rd July Hours: Full-time and part-time positions available About the Role We are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist education setting supporting learners with additional needs. This is a permanent opportunity, with candidates initially completing a short 12-week interim period before moving into a permanent role. You will play a key role in supporting students both in and out of the classroom, helping them develop independence, confidence, and essential life skills. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small group support Assist with tailored learning activities Support development of independence and communication skills Promote positive behaviour and engagement Support learners during lessons and break/unstructured times Work closely with teachers and support staff Monitor and record student progress Provide support with personal care where required (including assisting with daily routines and wellbeing) What We’re Looking For Experience in SEN, education, care, or support work A patient, reliable, and proactive attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting young people Ability to build positive relationships with learners Why apply?
