Cheer Point Volunteer

Every year, hundreds of runners take part in challenge events across the UK to help end homelessness. We are looking for enthusiastic Cheer Point Volunteers to join our cheer squads on the sidelines of iconic events like the London Marathon, Great North Run and Royal Parks Half Marathon. Get ready to clap, shout and motivate our runners all the way to the finish line! You will contribute to ending homelessness by supporting all our amazing fundraisers and raising awareness of Crisis. Your tasks may include: Cheering, motivating, and encouraging participants as they pass the Crisis cheer point Creating a lively and positive atmosphere Representing the charity in a friendly, positive, and respectful manner Following guidance from event coordinators to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone You will be provided a branded Crisis t-shirt to wear and cheer items to help make as much noise as possible for Team Crisis Please note that this role will likely involve standing for extended periods, and seating is not available.
