About the roleThis is a key support role sitting at the heart of everything we do, keeping our projects well resourced, organised, and running smoothly. Day-to-day tasks include:Monthly payroll preparationProcessing income and charges using SAGEInvoice preparation and credit controlPurchasing and procurement supportExpenses processing and travel bookingsFinancial information for grant claimsSupporting project budget preparation and maintenanceBank reconciliationGeneral operational support (annual leave, timesheets, etc.)About youWe're looking for someone with good attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a flexible, positive approach. You don't need to tick every box, and training can be provided, but ideally you'll bring some of the following:Experience managing a purchasing cycle (invoicing, cost estimates, managing creditors)Experience with SAGE accounting softwarePayroll experienceExperience working with grant-funded projects and financial reportingGood working knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelAn understanding of, and enthusiasm for, ACT's work
