Outdoor Learning Leader (Maternity Cover)

Are you passionate about the natural world and inspiring others through education? The Parks Trust is looking for an enthusiastic Outdoor Learning Leader to join our team on a fixed term maternity cover contract in Milton Keynes.

The Parks Trust is an independent charity caring for over 6,000 acres of parks, lakes and landscapes, delivering environmental education, recreation and community engagement across the city. In this role, you will deliver engaging outdoor learning sessions in our parks to a wide range of age groups, with a particular focus on primary pupils and the Youth Explorers programme. Sessions include themes such as Marvellous Minibeasts and Habitats, River Explorers, Art in the Park and Environmental Heroes.

Based at The Pavilion, Campbell Park

This role is 37.5 hours per week, with most time spent outdoors delivering sessions, supported by some office based work.

The contract runs from September 2026 to July 2027, with a salary of £27,500–£29,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus an excellent benefits package.
