Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Data Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst to join our client on a long-term contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and improving data structures, governance, and insight across the organisation. Your new role Facilitate workshops and gather business and data requirements from stakeholders Analyse existing documentation and workshop outputs to identify key insights Produce high-quality reports, dashboards, and presentation materials to explain data clearly Work closely with stakeholders to identify and resolve data-related issues Develop and maintain data glossaries, data catalogues, and data dictionaries Operate within an agile delivery environment Design and develop database structures and data models What you'll need to succeed Strong experience in data modelling, including concepts such as cardinality, normalisation, entity-relationship modelling, dimensional and hierarchical models, Kimball methodology, primary and foreign keys Proven ability to use modelling and collaboration tools such as Lucidchart, MS Visio, Miro (or similar) Experience producing reports and presentations that translate data into meaningful insights Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders Advanced skills in MS Excel Good understanding of data governance principles, including data retention and GDPR What you'll get in return Liverpool (2 days per week on-site) Long-term contract What you need to do now If you are a data professional with a strong modelling background and enjoy working closely with stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights, we would love to hear from you. #4803681 - Anna Janik
