Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION Assist in conducting background research to understand the client’s business environment and key stakeholders. Support the development and maintenance of professional relationships with clients during audit activities. Prepare and maintain working papers and assist in performing audit procedures. Identify and report compliance or risk issues to senior auditors. Support analysis of business and financial risks for clients. Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance audit efficiency and accuracy. Ensure audits are performed in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations, and professional standards. Keep updated on auditing standards and financial regulations under guidance from senior auditors. Undertake additional audit-related responsibilities as instructed. JOB REQUIREMENTS Basic to profound understanding of audit concepts and preparation of audit working papers Ability to identify and report audit issues under supervision. Familiarity with auditing standards, MIA by-laws, financial accounting standards, and relevant laws such as the Companies Act and Accountants Act. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and audit team members. Willingness to learn and adapt to diverse audit tasks. Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia
