Financial Analyst Associate (m/f/d)

Meet your future team You will join PwC Regulated Solutions within the Insurance Managed Services team, working alongside specialists in captive structuring, actuarial analysis, and risk financing. The team collaborates closely with clients and internal experts to deliver strategic captive solutions across jurisdictions. What your role will look like As an Associate, you will contribute to the design and implementation of captive (re)insurance solutions, supporting clients in optimizing their risk financing strategies. Your work transforms complex data and regulatory requirements into actionable financial insights that guide strategic decisions. Analyze risk profiles, historical loss data, and financial impacts to assess captive feasibility Consolidate and interpret large datasets (claims, premiums, exposures) to generate meaningful insights Support the development of financial models, business plans, and profitability projections Contribute to the structuring of captive solutions, including governance, reinsurance strategy, and capital considerations Support regulatory and Solvency II analyses to ensure compliance and sound capital planning Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment across projects Contribute to automation initiatives (e.g. Python, R, VBA) to improve analytical processes and efficiency Your growth and opportunities You will develop technical expertise in insurance, financial modelling, and regulatory frameworks while gaining exposure to international captive structures. As your experience grows, you will take more ownership of analyses and client interactions. The skills you bring Master’s degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Financial Engineering, or a related field Initial experience or strong academic exposure to insurance, reinsurance, captives, or risk financing Proficient use of Excel and working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word Understanding of insurance mechanisms and Solvency II frameworks Fluent in English and French Ways of working Analyse complex data and structure information to support sound financial decisions Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders to achieve project outcomes Show curiosity and continuously build knowledge in insurance, regulation, and analytics You act with integrity, handle confidential information with care, and uphold high ethical standards in every situation Additional skills that would support your success The skills listed reflect what matters most to succeed in this role.
