Job Description

Toonda Cultural Community Center We empower rural Ugandan communities through education, women's income programs, arts, and sustainable tourism.​ Support TOONDA in building partnerships and reaching companies in Uganda and internationally for CSR collaborations and funding opportunities. TOONDA is a grassroots organization supporting education, empowerment, arts, and community development projects in rural Uganda. We are looking for a volunteer who can help us identify and approach companies, foundations, and organizations interested in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), sponsorships, or general funding partnerships. Key Responsibilities: Research and identify companies and organizations aligned with TOONDA’s mission Support outreach to businesses in Uganda and internationally Help develop partnership ideas, CSR proposals, and sponsorship approaches Draft outreach messages, presentations, or partnership materials Support relationship-building and follow-up communication Suggest fundraising and partnership strategies for long-term sustainability You’re a good fit if you: Have experience in partnerships, fundraising, CSR, business development, or communications Feel confident reaching out to companies and building professional relationships Are organized and proactive Have strong written communication skills Want to support sustainable community development in Uganda Experience with nonprofits, sponsorships, or international organizations is a plus Impact: Your work will help TOONDA build sustainable partnerships and funding opportunities that directly support our education, empowerment, and arts programs in rural Uganda. Minimum Hours per Week: 7-9 hours per week Duration: 6+ months
