Home Visitor and Dog Assessment Volunteers

Here at Labrador Welfare we are looking for HOME VISIT and DOG ASSESSMENT volunteers in these specific areas: Barnsley Bishop Auckland Castleford Darlington Doncaster Durham Guisborough Huddersfield Manchester Mansfield Middlesbrough Newcastle Northallerton Sunderland Selby Thirsk Wakefield York The roles involve visiting prospective adoptees homes to check for suitability and/or visiting the dog being relinquished to assess their behaviours in the home, in the car and on a walk. A suitable car and full UK driving licence with relevant insurance is necessary, as is a smartphone for taking short videos. Hours/days are ad hoc depnding on when we get dogs come to us in your area. All expenses are reimbursed. If you think this is something you can help us with, we would love to hear from you!
