Your new company A well-established international financial services institution with a strong presence in London. The organisation operates across wholesale and retail banking, offering a range of lending, treasury and investment services. Your new role You will join a finance team supporting core accounting and reporting activities within a banking environment. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for producing timely and accurate management information, supporting month-end processes, and ensuring the integrity of key financial data. Key responsibilities include: Preparation of daily reporting and monthly management accounts Posting journals (including intercompany recharges, accruals, and prepayments) Supporting reconciliation of nostro and suspense accounts, alongside weekly aged items reporting Oversight of accounts payable and receivable processes, including expenses Ensuring FX rates are accurately maintained in the core banking system Producing monthly financial reporting packs, including margin and capital analysis Preparation of ALCO reporting materials Supporting external audit processes (interim and year-end) Managing daily data interfaces between finance systems What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in a banking or financial services finance function Strong understanding of management accounting and month-end processes Exposure to balance sheet reconciliations (nostro/suspense preferred) Experience supporting audit processes Strong Excel skills (intermediate or above), with exposure to Access desirable.
