Building Surveyor / Stock Condition Surveyor

Your new company A well-established and highly reputable building surveying consultancy is delivering a number of large-scale residential survey programmes across Glasgow and the West of Scotland. Due to a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking multiple experienced Stock Condition Surveyors to support ongoing projects. This organisation has a strong track record within the residential and social housing sector and is known for delivering high-volume, quality-led survey programmes for key clients. Your new role You will be responsible for carrying out stock condition surveys across residential properties, working as part of a wider project team but with autonomy in the field. Key responsibilities will include: Undertaking on-site condition surveys of residential housing stock Capturing and recording data using tablet-based survey systems Assessing building fabric, condition and compliance factors Producing accurate and detailed survey information in line with client requirements Managing your own workload to deliver high volumes of surveys efficiently Working across multiple sites within Glasgow and the wider West region What you'll need to succeed Previous experience carrying out stock condition or fabric surveys Experience surveying residential or social housing stock Strong ability to deliver high survey volumes to tight deadlines Competence using tablet/data capture systems Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule What you'll get in return Competitive rate per survey, with strong earning potential based on output Opportunity to secure high survey volumes on consistent projects Long-term programme of work, expected to run for several months Outside IR35 contract, offering flexibility and autonomy Opportunity to work with a leading consultancy on prominent residential programmes What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
