The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to use your creativity and design skills to make a meaningful difference. As Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in shaping how Unlock YOUR Potential presents itself to beneficiaries, volunteers, partners, funders, and the wider public. You will help transform ideas into compelling visual content that raises awareness, attracts support, and communicates the impact of our work. Whether you are an experienced designer or someone looking to build your portfolio while supporting a good cause, this role offers an opportunity to contribute to a growing organisation from its early stages. Key Responsibilities 1. Brand Development Help establish and develop the charity’s visual identity. Refine and adapt existing logo designs into professional formats. Support the creation of a consistent and recognisable brand presence. Assist in developing brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all communications. 2. Design and Creative Content Create engaging graphics for social media campaigns. Design posters, flyers, brochures, banners, and promotional materials. Develop digital assets for fundraising, volunteer recruitment, events, and awareness campaigns. Produce graphics that communicate the charity’s programmes, services, and impact. 3. Marketing and Communications Support Work closely with the Marketing & Communications Lead and Social Media Lead. Support content creation through visual storytelling and design. Help create resources for presentations, reports, newsletters, and stakeholder communications. Design materials that enhance engagement and awareness. 4. Campaign and Event Design Create visual assets for fundraising campaigns. Design event branding and promotional materials. Support awareness campaigns focused on employability, personal development, wellbeing, and mentoring. 5. Creative Innovation Contribute fresh ideas and creative concepts. Help strengthen the charity’s professional image and public profile. Explore innovative ways to communicate key messages visually. Skills and Experience We welcome applications from individuals with a range of experience levels. You may have experience in: Graphic design Visual communications Branding Marketing design Digital design Illustration Content creation Creative media We are particularly looking for someone who: Has a good eye for design, layout, and visual storytelling. Is creative and enjoys bringing ideas to life. Has experience using design tools such as: Canva Adobe Creative Cloud Figma Or similar design software. Can work collaboratively with volunteers and trustees. Is organised and able to manage multiple projects. Shares our passion for helping people unlock their potential. Professional qualifications are not required. We welcome students, graduates, professionals, career changers, and self-taught designers.
