Production Operative

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Production Operative to join a small, well-established manufacturing business based in Glenrothes.

Our client is a family-owned business with over 30 years of history, hand-finishing premium products for major UK retailers and hospitality businesses from their Glenrothes facility. This is a small, close-knit team where the right attitude and willingness to build a long-term career matters as much as experience.

What's on offer?

• Temporary position moving to permanent after 12 weeks
• Monday to Wednesday, 7:45am to 7:55pm and Thursday, 7:45am to 5:25pm
• 12.71 per hour, paid weekly - rising on moving to permanent employment

As a Production Operative, your duties will include:

• Hand-finishing products to a consistently high standard
• Working accurately and consistently to meet production specifications and quality requirements
• Supporting general production duties across the facility
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment

To be considered as a Production Operative, you will need:

• A reliable, conscientious approach to work with good attention to detail
• The ability to work well within a small, close-knit team
• A genuine interest in building a long-term career within a skilled manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing role is advantageous but not essential
