Job description Security Officer Based : London Pay: £12.71ph - £14.60ph Status: Permanent Rota: Regular Requested Days Servoca Secure Solutions provides a comprehensive blend of services originating in policing, the public sector and the private security sector. The company is urgently seeking a reliable, organised and flexible Security Officer to join our Security Team, who can provide a high standard guarding and patrolling service of all access points for a number of our Clients. This may include managing the searching/screening of personnel, vehicles and deliveries. This particular position is to cover several sites in London, ranging from general government sites to high end corporate clients. At your primary site you will be responsible for the checking of meeting times, searching of visitors and the protection of the public and staff using the site. You will join a diverse team and be front and centre at a modern centre being able to progress your skills and career. We are ideally looking for someone to join the company with the ambition to progress through the ranks and grow with the company. You will be trained at all sites and your shifts will come from all sites. There is an escalation process which may move you to another site on the morning of a shift should this be required. Candidates may need to be flexible and available to work nights and weekends as required. There is an expectation to aid in covering colleagues when they are on holiday. The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience: Previous Security Guarding experience is desirable Previous Security experience in a Corporate Business environment is desirable but not required 3 full years living in the UK SIA front-line License in Security Guarding or Door Supervision is essential Working knowledge of BS 7858 Code of Practice is desirable Excellent attention to detail Ability to remain alert for long periods Excellent communication skills Highly motivated Excellent interpersonal skills and can develop and maintain good working relationships Able to prioritise Please note that due to the volume of applicants we will respond to those candidates that successfully reach the next stage of the recruitment process Job Type: Permanent Salary: £12.71ph - £14.60ph Schedule: 12 hour shift Day shift Night shift Overtime Experience: security: 3 years (desirable) Licence/Certification SIA (required) Shift availability: Day shift Occasional Night cover when required Work Location: In person
