You will be responsible for- Understanding your Product and making decisions about its development to ensure we meet Product and Tribe OKRs.
- Keep abrest of key developments in our industry and have a basic understanding of our critical systems and platforms.
- Use research tools and techniques to determine the future direction for your Product
- Listen actively to customers and bring together insights from multiple sources for richer understanding
- Understand 'why' customers use the product and use data and insight to identify the highest value jobs.
- Embed Scrum methodology within your squad, including the core ceremonies, clear roles and responsibilities, a shared purpose, product vision and well-defined product backlog
- Write clear and inspiring vision statements in collaboration with others in my squad and tribe that guide our product roadmap
- Create a roadmap for the product in collaboration with your squad and other SMEs
- Create cohesive product features, actively engage with stakeholders for feedback.
- Use data to guide prioritisation and value outcomes within your squad
- Actively collaborate with engineers and other SMEs to ensure platform development is an ongoing part of the Product development, keeping the platform safe, secure and well-maintained.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Product Owner / Product Manager with retail and / or telecoms industries experienced combined with experience delivering brilliant customer journeys through multiple channels and platform ownership and development experience.
You Will Also Need:
- Curiosity, desire to understand customers and their behaviour, and a capacity to learn fast
- Experience working in an agile organisation, with a working knowledge of Scrum methodologies, tools and practices
- Previous Product Management or Product Ownership experience
- Understand customer research methodologies and how to interpret customer insight from multiple sources
- Strategic thinking; ability to set a clear vision, prioritise and plot a roadmap to get there
- Analytical and problem-solving skills using data and insight
- Ability to manipulate data (e.g. in Excel)
- Ability to communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders
