We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Cygnet Sedgley House & Lodge. This role will be working full time, 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday. Cygnet Sedgley House and Lodge offer a 34 bed high dependency inpatient rehabilitation service for men with complex needs as well as supporting 8 beds in our community step-down houses. The service is designed to provide an environment that promotes mental health recovery by focusing on space, personal privacy and dignity. Cygnet Sedgley House and Lodge is a multi-disciplinary and psychologically informed service. The focus is on nurturing an enabling environment to deliver a clinical model, developed specifically to meet the needs of service users within an operational framework, providing a high quality environment for promoting long-term recovery. Your Day-to-Day… We are seeking an academically strong candidate to support and enhance the psychological care of patients at the service by assisting the Qualified Psychologist with; • Contributing to assessments, scoring and reporting (verbal / written) • Clinical formulation and implementing care plans for psychological treatment • Planning, delivering and evaluating individual / group programmes • Administration, audit, research and service development We're looking for some one who is… • Salary: £28,826.70 per year • Degree qualified in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent • BPS (British Psychological Society) Accredited • Preferably experienced in health care and/or in an Assistant Psychologist role • Passionate about learning and working as part of an interdisciplinary team • Qualified to Master's degree level or higher in Psychology (preferable) Why Cygnet?
