About the role
We're looking for a caring, dependable and proactive Waking Night Support Worker to join our team in Droitwich (WR9), working weekends to support individuals through the night.
You'll be supporting 10 individuals (4 ladies and 6 gentlemen in their 20s) with learning disabilities, autism and complex health needs in a shared supported living environment.
Waking nights are essential to ensuring people feel safe, comfortable and supported - helping them to rest well and prepare for the day ahead.

At home: Gaming, comics, cartoons, sensory activities, arts & crafts
Out and about: Cinema trips, swimming, bowling and walks
Strong relationships with family members are important, and maintaining consistent, high-quality support is key.
What you will be doing (Waking Nights)
As a waking night support worker, you'll remain awake and alert throughout your shift, providing essential support and reassurance.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out regular safety and wellbeing checks
Supporting personal care needs overnight, including bathroom support
Providing reassurance and promoting restful sleep routines
Responding calmly to any needs or incidents during the night
Completing accurate records and handovers for day teams
Maintaining a safe, calm and supportive environment
Shift patterns
This is a weekend-only waking night role, including:
Saturday: 10:00pm - 7:00am
Sunday: 10:00pm - 8:30am
About you
You'll be a great fit if you are:

Organised and confident with record-keeping
Experience is helpful but not essential - full training is provided.
