About the role We're looking for a caring, proactive and reliable Support Worker to join our team in WR9, Droitwich on a Sunday shift (15 hours). You'll be supporting six young adults aged 19-31 with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and complex needs, each living in their own self-contained apartment within one building. This is a hands-on, rewarding role where consistency, teamwork and creativity are key - perfect for someone looking to make a meaningful impact in a part-time position. Who you will be supporting You'll support two ladies and four gentlemen, all with unique personalities, routines and interests. Support needs include: 1:1 support Personal care Manual handling and hoist use Wheelchair support (most individuals) PEG feeding and dysphagia support Medication administration (including epilepsy support) Understanding non-verbal communication Interests & lifestyle The people you support enjoy a mix of active and relaxed routines, including: Social outings such as cinema, bowling and park visits Spending time in the garden Gaming, comics and cartoons College placements and structured routines during the week Community activities and hobbies Sunday shifts often focus on relaxed routines, social time and meaningful engagement, creating opportunities for connection and enjoyment. What you will be doing Your role will be varied and purposeful, including: Providing personal care and manual handling support Supporting health needs, including PEG feeding and medication Encouraging independence and engagement Supporting communication through observation and interaction Joining in activities and creating positive experiences Working closely with the team to provide consistent, high-quality care About you You'll be a great fit if you are: A strong team player with a positive attitude Patient, caring and attentive Proactive and willing to get involved Confident supporting complex needs (or willing to learn) Observant and able to recognise non-verbal communication Reliable and committed to delivering great support Experience is helpful, but not essential - full training is provided.
