Responsive Personnel are pleased to be working with a local company who are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join their team due to business growth. **Due to location, own transport (including car, moped, motorbike or push bike) will be required as there are no public transport links** Monday to Friday working 12:15 - 20:15. Initial training will be on a 08:00 - 16:00 shift. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be working alongside the rest of the warehouse team, reporting into the Warehouse Manager. This is a very active role with heavy lifting involved using manual handling aids. Your responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative will include (but not limited to): Conduct regular stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy. Carefully load, unload, and move heavy goods, including sofas, ensuring safety and efficiency. Move pallets as required throughout the distribution centre. Receive and sort customer returns. Pick goods according to order specifications, preparing them for shipment. Label goods accurately as required. Scan materials into and out of locations in line with company procedures to maintain inventory accuracy. Warehouse Operative Experience and Qualifications: Able to handle and move heavy goods safely. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications. Good understanding and experience working with warehouse management systems. High level of accuracy. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Proactive with a flexible approach to work. Ability to follow procedures and maintain high standards.
