Job Description Assist in preparing and submitting tax returns for clients in compliance with relevant regulations. Support the accounting team with financial reporting and reconciliation tasks. Maintain accurate and organised financial records for clients. Conduct tax research and provide updates on changes to tax legislation. Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and clarify queries. Assist in resolving tax-related issues and liaising with HMRC when required. Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and management reports. Provide administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the accounting department. The Successful Applicant A successful Accounts Tax Assistant should have: A foundational qualification in accounting or a related field. Knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles within professional services. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in using accounting software and financial tools. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
