Legal Secretary – Litigation London | Permanent | Full‑time A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary – Litigation to provide high‑quality secretarial and administrative support to partners and associates within a busy disputes practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, detail‑driven individual who thrives in a fast‑paced legal environment. The role As a Legal Secretary – Litigation, you will support a group of lawyers with a wide range of secretarial and administrative tasks, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and to a consistently high standard. You will play a key role in supporting case management, deadlines and document production within the team. Working closely with other support staff, you will contribute to the smooth day‑to‑day running of the department and provide additional cover during busy periods. Key responsibilities Producing, editing and proofreading litigation documents to a high standard Managing calendars, deadlines and reminder systems Organising meetings, conferences and internal activities Handling inbox management, telephone calls and correspondence Arranging travel and accommodation and preparing itineraries Opening, maintaining and closing client files, including e‑filing Updating client information using CRM systems Supporting timesheet administration and compliance processes Providing cover for colleagues and assisting with overflow work Skills and experience Proven experience as a Legal Secretary – Litigation or in a similar legal support role Excellent written English, grammar and proofreading skills Fast and accurate typing, including transcription Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively Professional communication skills and a client‑focused approach High levels of discretion and attention to detail Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint Working environment This role is based in a London office, working 35 hours per week, with flexibility required to meet business needs.
