Facilities Assistant   Temp to Perm Central London Tay Associates are proud to be partnering with a highly reputable consultancy firm to recruit a Facilities Assistant for their London office. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and hands-on Facilities professional looking to join a fast-paced and professional environment where no two days are the same. Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office environment. The successful candidate will help maintain a safe, organised, and efficient workplace while delivering excellent support to both internal teams and external contractors. This role would suit someone who is organised, reliable, approachable, and happy to take a hands-on approach to office operations. Please note this role involves regular manual handling duties, including moving supplies, furniture, and setting up meeting rooms, so a reasonable level of physical fitness is required. Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting the day-to-day management of office facilitiesAssisting with conference room bookings and meeting room set-upsConducting daily and weekly office inspections, reporting any issues identifiedManaging office equipment ordering and replenishmentCarrying out internal mail distribution and office runsSupporting office health & safety checks and reporting findingsEscorting contractors on-site and assisting with access and compliance proceduresAssisting with ad-hoc facilities and operational tasks as requiredWhat We’re Looking ForPrevious experience within Facilities, Office Services, or Workplace SupportStrong organisational skills with excellent attention to detailA proactive and flexible approach to workGood communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced office environmentAbility to manage physical/manual tasks when requiredA team player with a positive and professional attitude If you are looking to join a respected consultancy firm in a varied and rewarding Facilities role, we would love to hear from you.
