Job Description
The National Army Museum's mission is to tell the story of Our Army and the people who have served in it; to inspire, engage and educate, though our World Class Museum and Collections. Through our galleries and innovative exhibitions and public programme, the public can explore what it's like to be a soldier, why we fought in conflicts – past and present, and discover the impact the Army has had on our society. The National Army Museum is recruiting two Conservators in the Collections Standards and Care team, to support our work in preserving and caring for our unrivalled collection, both on display and in storage. We are looking for individuals with a passion for our work and the ability to work as part of our highly experienced team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide support to the Collections Standards and Care team for the preparation, conservation and installation of textiles from the Museum's collection, to meet the outcomes of the Museum's exhibition programme and on-going care and storage projects.
