We’re supporting a busy, people-focused organisation in Reading as they look to bring in a confident, organised Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and staff. It’s a role that suits someone who enjoys keeping a workplace running smoothly and takes pride in creating a warm, professional front-of-house experience. This is a 1 month rolling contract position and will need someone who can start a new role immediately. Responsibilities Welcoming visitors, managing sign-in processes, and keeping the reception area tidy and presentable Handling incoming calls and emails, directing queries to the right teams Supporting day-to-day admin: room bookings, post, basic document handling, and general office coordination Working closely with internal teams to keep information flowing and ensure the day runs without friction Requirements Previous front-of-house or customer-facing admin experience is crucial Immediately Available to start a new role Confident communicator with a calm, friendly manner Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and staying composed during busy periods
