An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Private PA to support a charming, high-net-worth retired banker—a charismatic, old-school character with a great sense of humour—as his long-standing Private PA prepares to retire. Based in his Chelsea home, this is a varied and engaging role supporting an individual with a fascinating portfolio spanning film financing, sports (including a former Directorship in a Formula 1 team), and current work as an Executive Producer with Netflix. He is also involved in multiple business interests, charity work, personal projects (including writing a book), and managing properties including a country house, farm and holiday cottage. Working 2 days per week (ideally Tuesday & Wednesday, with some flexibility), the Private PA will provide both business and private support, including: Managing a busy and varied diary (business and personal) Inbox management and correspondence Arranging travel, bookings and responding to invitations Handling personal administration, including paying bills and record keeping Assisting with tax preparation for his accountant Supporting with family matters and investment oversight Providing light-touch “upward management” to help prioritise activities Ad hoc support across a wide range of projects (including occasional script review) The Ideal Private PA Experienced Private PA or former investment banking PA Extremely organised, efficient and proactive Patient, tolerant and adaptable, with a good sense of humour Confident managing a principal who is less tech-savvy A self-starter who is happy to roll up their sleeves and get on with tasks Broad-minded and comfortable with a varied, ever-changing workload Private PA Package £60,000 pro rata (£24,000 for 2 days) Travel expenses to work covered Occasional flexibility to increase to 3 days when required This is a unique and rewarding role for a capable, personable Private PA who enjoys variety, autonomy and building a close working relationship with their principal.
