Assistant Apprenticeship Officer Full time (35 hrs/wk), permanent Split place of work between Horizons (Reading, Berkshire) and Home with up to 30 days per year at Horizons Salary range £25,000 to £27,000 pa plus benefits An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join our fast-paced Apprenticeship Outcomes team. As an Assistant Apprenticeship Officer, you will contribute to all aspects of the apprenticeship lifecycle, providing operational, administrative, and compliance support that ensures apprentices and employers receive a professional, consistent, and effective service. This is a brilliant opportunity for anyone looking to continue developing their administrative skills in Higher Education, whilst contributing to an excellent student experience at the University. Your accountabilities and responsibilities include: Audit and monitor off-the-job training diary to ensure the requirements for apprenticeship funding are met Support the End Point Assessment gateway process for the Apprenticeship Outcomes team Support the implementation of outstanding safeguarding practice (including health, safety and welfare) across the University Apprenticeship teams, in liaison with designated safeguarding staff Our main requirements: Experience in an administrative role, ideally within an educational environment GCSE Maths and English language Grade C or 4 or above Digital skills confidence: We use MS Office which includes Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and several other systems/technology Effective time management and organisational skills with a strong attention to detail At University of the Built Environment we expect employees to demonstrate our values: Passion, Integrity, Excellence and Support.
