Job overview Community Staff Nurse We are looking to recruit a Community Staff Nurse to work within the Community Nursing Night Service Team. This is for a fixed term maternity leave cover for 9 months. The post is for 18.75hours per week - working 3 evenings across the 7 day period, however, where service requires to complete Night Shift. Main duties of the job Whilst community experience would be an advantage we are keen to recruit those who have relevant transferable skills and experience with long term condition management, who are enthusiastic to develop their career in the community setting. You will be required to work shifts across the 7 days. Access to a car for work purposes is essential. The post requires good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to be adaptable, reliable and approachable. You will have a sound knowledge of recent changes within the NHS and current professional issues. You will have an understanding of frailty and long term condition management. You will be working under the direction of the Clinical Team Leader/ Senior Nurse Practitioner and in conjunction with other team members, ensuring clinical standards are maintained using evidence based practice. Working for our organisation You will have a good knowledge of the components of Clinical Governance, Best Practice, Risk Management, Clinical Audit and relevant Professional Codes. You will be flexible, adaptable and reliable and be able to evidence excellent clinical skills.
