A growing food production business in Stevenage is looking to recruit a reliable and detail-focused Packer to support its busy production operation supplying catering and retail customers.

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced meat processing environment where accuracy, consistency, and teamwork are essential to ensuring customer orders are prepared correctly and on time.

Working hours

Your responsibilities as a Packer

• Pack meat products to weight and quantity specifications
• Work accurately from production analysis and quantity sheets
• Label and prepare products for dispatch
• Ensure products meet food safety and hygiene standards
• Maintain a clean and organised packing area
• Support wider team output during busy production periods

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented approach
• Comfortable working within chilled production environments
• Willingness to learn and adapt to production demands

Desirable experience

• Previous food production or packing experience
