Our client, a climate-focused charity working on a global scale, is seeking an experienced, highly organised, proactive Executive Assistant to join their fully remote team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The primary focus of this role is to support the Chief Programme Officer, based in Denmark. As their right-hand person, this EA will be a lynchpin of day-to-day effectiveness, managing the CPO’s priorities, keeping them on top of commitments and ensuring time and focus remain where they are needed. Above all, they want someone with initiative and common sense, who can build a strong remote working relationship, and truly make a difference to the CPO’s working life. There will be some ad hoc support to the wider Executive Team. The role is relatively fluid, with scope to evolve for the right candidate. The organisation operates remotely, with a central London office available for team members to use. Candidates must be UK-based with the flexibility to travel to London occasionally. A connection to Denmark, whether professionally, personally or regular travel to the area, would be an advantage, but isn’t essential. Solid experience at executive level is required, and ideally some exposure to the charity sector. Start – ASAP Hours – 9am-5:30pm or 8am-4:30pm (flexibility required due to time zone differences) Duties include but are not limited to: Exec Support Inbox and diary management, including scheduling across multiple time zones and resolving conflicts Drafting correspondence and preparing documents and reports for internal and external audiences Maintaining notes, records and documentation from ELT meetings Handling confidential information with discretion, in line with data protection policies Events Supporting planning and logistics of organisational events, including budgets, agendas and RSVPs Providing on-site support at events and meetings as required General and Team Support Managing team meetings end-to-end, from agendas through to note-taking and actions Tracking priorities, deadlines and project milestones across ELT members and their teams ***Joyce Guiness is one of the most established support recruitment agencies in London.
