People & Development Coordinator Central London (Hybrid – 3 days in office) Full-time (8:00 – 4:30 or 9:00 – 5:30) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People & Development Coordinator to join a respected professional services organisation within the built environment sector. This is a newly created role with real ownership and visibility. The primary focus will be coordinating Alternative Professional Qualification (APQ) programmes, alongside supporting early talent, apprenticeships and wider learning & development initiatives. This role would suit someone with experience in early careers, L&D, apprenticeships, or professional development administration who is looking to take ownership of programmes and build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships. The Role You will play a central role in ensuring professional development pathways run smoothly across the business, acting as the key point of contact for learners, managers and training providers. Key Responsibilities Learner Management Act as first point of contact for employees pursuing professional qualifications Deliver cohort and line manager briefings Support learners throughout qualification pathways Provider & Qualification Management Build strong relationships with training providers (e.g. APM, CIPS, CIOB and similar bodies) Monitor learner progress and flag risks Coordinate enrolments, reviews and completion tracking Develop a strong understanding of qualification routes and assessment criteria Programme Coordination Schedule and coordinate chartership sessions and development activities Liaise with internal subject matter experts Track attendance and gather feedback to support continuous improvement Course Sponsorship & Database Management Maintain and update sponsorship agreement records Issue new agreements and track completion timelines Produce regular reporting on programme activity Apprenticeships & Early Talent Support Support apprenticeship briefings and provider coordination Monitor milestones and compliance requirements Provide support during peak early talent recruitment and assessment periods Mentoring Programme Oversee mentoring platform coordination, matching and onboarding Monitor engagement and collect feedback Promote participation across the business Onboarding & L&D Projects Coordinate onboarding for new joiners on development pathways Support wider L&D initiatives, events and programme enhancements About You You will be highly organised, proactive and confident managing multiple workstreams. Essential: Experience in HR administration, early careers, learning & development, or similar Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Confident using Microsoft Office and collaboration tools Experience managing competing priorities Desirable: Familiarity with apprenticeship programmes or funding Awareness of professional qualifications (e.g. RICS, APM, CIOB or similar) Experience supporting graduate or apprenticeship schemes Degree educated or equivalent experience Why Apply?
