Actio Recruitment are supporting a respected CNC machining and precision engineering company in Exhall as they look to add a Visual Inspector to their quality team. This is a temp‑to‑perm opportunity offering long‑term stability and room to grow.

The Role

Working within a busy machine shop, you will carry out a range of visual and basic dimensional checks to ensure components meet the required standards. Daily tasks will include:

• Inspecting batches of machined parts for surface finish, defects and general conformity

• Checking threads using gauges

• Verifying thread depths and other features

• Recording results accurately and reporting any non‑conformances

• Supporting wider quality activities as required

• Developing your skills with further training provideD

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Circa 2 years’ experience working in a precision engineering or CNC machining environment

• A good eye for detail and a methodical approach

• Confidence reading basic instructions and recording measurements

• Reliability, accuracy and a positive attitude towards learning
