Salary: £92 - £95 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Cardiff, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant. The school has a warm and inclusive environment where staff work closely together to provide engaging learning opportunities and encourage children to reach their full potential both academically and socially.

The school is looking to take on a Level 2 Teaching Assistant on a full-time long-term basis from September 2026. The successful Level 2 Teaching Assistant will be supporting within a Key Stage 2 class, working closely alongside the class teacher to set up activities, support learning and help develop children’s confidence, communication and social skills.

The successful Level 2 Teaching Assistant will have:

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification

Experience supporting children within a Primary School setting

Experience working within Key Stage 2 / KS2

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A proactive and positive attitude

The ability to support children’s academic and social development
