Front of House Assistant JOB DESCRIPTION The host is a varied and interesting role. The activities in a Leisure Centre are wide ranging and the involvement with people is continuous. The host would form part of the Front of House team and be carried out by a suitable Front of House team member Primary objectives for the Receptionist will be: The FoH assistant will be the first and last face a customer sees on their visit. They will be in place at peak times when Leisure Pool is in operation during school holidays and weekends They will give a fantastic first impression as well as a long lasting impression as they leave. To have a good range of knowledge regarding the Leisure Centre in what it offers as well as the location of all facilities To direct and ease customers on their journey within the Leisure Centre to the relevant facility To promote activities within the Leisure Centre and upsell items within the Goods for Resale lines including Food & Beverage. Stock up when needed/required. Maintain cleaning standards in the FOH area Issue promotional material and Feedback cards to encourage online reviews Assist their FOH colleagues in queue management and maintain a 95% answer rate. Personal Among the personal characteristics sought the applicant: Will have excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly disposition. Will be able to operate tills and be competent in a variety of computer programmes. Strong interpersonal and customer facing skills as well as strong knowledge base on what the facilities offer. Will be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Will be able to demonstrate good organisational skills. Will be able to confidently communicate effectively with customers, clients and staff. **
