Our client, a prestigious interior design studio with an enduring reputation for excellence, is seeking an experienced and versatile General Assistant to join their dynamic and busy team and provide support to the MD and her team. This is a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in a high-end creative environment, learning from a wealth of in-house expertise whilst contributing to the smooth running of the studio. The successful candidate will have some administrative experience, be a proactive, enthusiastic team player with a flexible, can-do attitude, a creative mindset and a genuine passion for design. You will be comfortable juggling and prioritising a varied workload in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of tasks and ensuring that every piece of work is completed thoroughly and accurately. Strong organisational and time management abilities are essential, as are excellent written and spoken English skills alongside high levels of numeracy. You will be confident across all Microsoft Office programmes and able to adapt quickly to bespoke in-house systems. A full, valid driving licence is required for this position. Hours: Core 9.30am – 5.30pm Holiday: 23 days (3 to be taken Xmas) Duties include but are not limited to: General PA and office administration to support the wider team and keep the office running smoothly Managing the office diary and facilitating meetings, including minute-taking at client and contractor meetings Drafting client estimates and invoices with precision and care Processing and managing supplier invoices Placing orders and co-ordinating collections and deliveries Monitoring actions and deadlines to ensure timely completion Checking in deliveries, including fabrics, furniture and lighting, and upholding quality standards Maintaining and developing the studio’s fabric and hard finishes libraries ***Joyce Guiness is one of the most established support recruitment agencies in London.
