Job Description

This is a rare opening within a long-established private household team supporting a warm, family-orientated UHNW couple with properties across the world. The role sits alongside a Senior Assistant who has supported the principals for nearly two decades — someone who is genuinely invested in finding the right person and will provide thorough training and ongoing mentorship. When not travelling, you will be based in the couple's Mayfair office. The role requires approximately two months in Greece each summer (July and August), along with additional international travel throughout the year as the principals move between their various residences. Fluent Greek is essential — the couple have a large household team based in Greece, many of whom communicate exclusively in Greek, and your ability to liaise with them confidently will be central to the role. The principals The couple are known within their team for being calm, considered and genuinely kind. They have exceptionally high standards, but those who work with them describe an environment built on mutual respect. The role Working as part of a close-knit private team, you will support the day-to-day personal affairs of both principals with absolute discretion. Responsibilities will include diary and inbox management across multiple time zones, coordinating complex international travel by both commercial and private jet, managing personal errands and lifestyle requests, liaising with global household staff and maintenance contractors, drafting household staff contracts, and acting as a calm, informed presence within the wider team — someone who reads the room, anticipates needs and addresses issues before they become problems. The couple travel with a large team and have substantial staffs at each residence, as well as a large extended family network. Emotional intelligence and people skills are as important here as organisational ability.  You will need to build trusted relationships across a diverse group of people and cultures, and do so with warmth and professionalism. What we are looking for Some prior exposure to HNWI or private household environments is important, though the role is structured to allow for growth — full training will be provided by the Senior Assistant. More than a specific background, we are looking for a particular kind of person: organised to an exceptional level, genuinely discreet, calm under pressure, and someone who takes quiet pride in doing things properly. A positive outlook and flexible mindset are non-negotiable, as is the ability to manage shifting priorities with composure. This is a 24/7 role in the truest sense — your phone will need to remain on at all times. In practice, out-of-hours contact is rare and not excessive at weekends, but the right candidate will be someone who genuinely embraces that level of availability rather than tolerating it. Practical details The ideal start date is May 2026, with an initial trial period of approximately one month before travelling to Greece for the summer season. The client will require a DBS check and there will be a task-based element included in the interview process. Please note, that due to the high volume of applications we receive for every jobs we post, we are only able to respond to successful applicants
