Procurement Manager – virtual event with MI5 We’ll be running two online Insight events on Wednesday 13 th May , at 1pm and 5pm to introduce our Procurement Manager role. These sessions are a great opportunity to learn more about the role , explore what the job involves, and ask any questions before applications open. Procurement Manager at MI5 In this vital role, you’ll provide a responsive and efficient service in line with our commercial policy. You’ll create and manage contracts, gather unique requirements, and build effective relationships with internal and external partners. Prioritising continuous improvement, you’ll apply your commercial expertise and identify ways to enhance our practices and approaches. And, you’ll share your enthusiasm as you task manage a small team who’ll look to you for guidance. It’s a role with plenty of variety, real impact, and significant room for growth. We’ll encourage you to study towards a professional commercial qualification (if you don’t already hold one), and provide a wealth of core and technical skills training. So, you won’t just be enhancing our procurement services, you’ll be furthering your own career, too. About you You’ll have worked in procurement and supply chain service and have experience in at least one of the following: contract management, sourcing, commercial policy and assurance, low value procurement or invoicing. You’ll also hold, or be willing to work towards, a professional commercial qualification such as the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) Level 4 (or equivalent). Salary £47,677 for London. For Cheltenham, Manchester and Buckinghamshire, the salary is £45,331. Please note this role requires a minimum of three days per week in the office, with flexibility to work from home one to two days per week.
