HR Operations Team

As a Junior HR Advisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR service across the organisation. You’ll support a wide range of HR activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent customer service at every stage.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing and processing payroll and contractual changes
- Supporting family-friendly leave requests
- Handling references, right to work checks, DBS/criminal record checks, and professional membership registrations
- Administering employee benefits
- Supporting the Skilled Worker sponsorship process
- Ensuring compliance with CQC standards, employment law, and Home Office regulations
- Acting as the first point of contact for HR-related queries via phone and email, providing initial advice and guidance or directing queries appropriately
- Ensuring all HR administration is completed accurately, confidentially, and on time

What we’re looking for
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage your own workload and adapt to changing priorities
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- A self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build credible relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
- Previous experience in an HR environment would be advantageous
- Experience within the care sector is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and right to work checks would be beneficial, but full training will be provided
