Job Purpose The purpose is to develop and maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Job Overview A High End Retail Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring that personnel and guests have a positive first impression of the venue. As the first point of contact, you will be expected to be friendly and welcoming when guests/staff arrive or leave. Main Duties and Responsibilities Observe customer behaviour to identify suspicious activity detect and prevent shoplifting incidents approache and detail suspected offenders in line with legal requirements recover stolen goods and evidence liaise wtih police when required Protect the store, employees and customer from theft or vandalism monitor security systems and patrol the store ensure a safe and welcoming environment for customers handle customer services task and assist with any inquiries or directions Ensure a professional appearance Ensure processes are strictly followed for any visitors to the building Deal with complaints and offer fast resolutions escalating where necessary Build professional relationships with occupiers and guests ensuring all have a pleasant experience Requirements A valid SIA licence - Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Right to work in the UK First Aid and Fire Marshal training - (preferable) Flexible, committed and punctual Excellent concentration skills Excellent communication skills Keen attention to detail Ability to remain calm and deal with emergency situations Customer Service experience An ambitious personality and willing to grow with the business Equal Opportunity Employer: Impact Services is an equal opportunity employer.
