Sixth Form Academic Mentor Starting salary, Scale 6 point 18 of NJC pay scale, £37,508 full time equivalent Pro-rata salary is £32,986 (Government pay award applied). This post requires relationship building with teachers and specific students, plus the ability to be pro-active and confident in planning and delivering a range of sessions to small groups, or 1-1, which support academic progress and remove barriers to learning. After school private study time will be necessary. This role also includes 2 extra days to attend exam results day and evening events. This post is a permanent post. A good standard of computer skills, literacy and the ability to prioritise is essential for this post.
