Job Description

The School Curriculum Administrator involves providing administrative support for academic and quality assurance processes, including programme and module development, reviews, and accreditation activities. Responsibilities include managing module evaluations, continual monitoring, and external examiner processes, as well as producing and maintaining documentation in line with procedures. Additional duties include supporting apprenticeship provision and compliance, academic misconduct processes, curriculum-related meetings, and School events such as Welcome Week, Open Days, and Graduation. The postholder will also liaise with professional service teams, prepare meeting materials (agendas, minutes, presentations), and assist with university-wide events such as Clearing and enrolment. Supporting the administration of processes relating to the development of the academic portfolio, the review, revision and amendment to modules and programmes. Supporting external accreditation activity, quality reviews and audits as required, including those required by PSRBs. Administering activity in relation to module evaluation (MEQs), the continual monitoring of modules and programmes (CMEE) and other assurance processes required by the University. Administering the appointment of External Examiners and monitoring the completion of External Examiners reports. Producing and compiling documentation in line with standard operating procedures. Provide administrative support to apprenticeship provision and compliance activity, including scheduling progress reviews and supporting curriculum review and development for apprenticeships [where required by the School/Faculty]. Support apprenticeship provision by administering the appointment of End Point Assessors and monitoring the completion of reports [where required by the School/Faculty]. Support the academic misconduct process and support curriculum related School meetings. Support the delivery of Welcome Week. Maintain strong links with professional service teams across the University. Prepare agendas, minutes, presentations and supporting documentation for School meetings. Support and attend events such as Clearing, Open days, offer holding, enrolment, graduation ceremonies etc. The job description for this role can be found here . This role is working 18.25 hours per week (0.5 FTE). The salary stated above is the full-time equivalent based on working 36.5 hours per week (1 FTE). This is a hybrid role which includes a mixture of working from home / days in the office to be agreed with the successful candidate.
