Leisure Assistant (Cleaning) - Maidstone Location: ORIDA Health Club Job Type: Part-time Salary: National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage (depending on age) Hours: 6–9 hours per week (evenings & weekends) About Us At ORIDA Health Club, we pride ourselves on delivering a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all members. Our facilities include a gym, studios, poolside areas, saunas, steam rooms, and changing areas, all maintained to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The Role We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Leisure Assistant (Cleaner) to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone looking for a small number of weekly hours in the evenings and at weekends. You will play an important role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the club, helping to create a positive experience for our members. Key Responsibilities Cleaning all areas of the club including gym floor, studios, changing facilities, poolside, sauna, and steam room Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across all wet and dry areas Carrying out regular checks and responding promptly to cleaning needs Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards What We’re Looking For A strong work ethic and attention to detail Reliable and punctual Ability to work independently Friendly and approachable Available to work evenings and weekends Important Information Due to the nature of this role, including duties carried out within male changing areas, this position is open to male applicants only , in line with the genuine occupational requirement provisions of the Equality Act 2010.
