Receptionist (Administrative Assistant) Description Join our dynamic team at the University of Plymouth’s Faculty of Health, where you can play a vital role in supporting our mission to address today’s most pressing healthcare challenges. As our receptionist, you will: Be responsible for greeting visitors and providing assistance in person, over the phone, and via email. Efficiently manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including sorting emails and promptly responding to inquiries. Handle scheduling appointments and meetings. Assist with data entry and record-keeping when needed to contribute to the seamless functioning of our office. Support the administrative team by tackling ad-hoc tasks and projects with enthusiasm and efficiency. However, occasional travel to other University sites - particularly the Main Campus - may be required. An essential requirement of this position is the ability to travel to and work across multiple University locations and/or other business sites, some of which may not be easily accessible by public transport. Further details are outlined in the job description. This is a a fixed-term basis to cover a secondment until July 2027. Your working pattern will be during office open hours, as below: 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.00pm Friday Due to the nature of the role, unfortunately we are unable to accommodate working from home. What we’re looking for: We’re looking an orgnaised indivdual with the ability to problem solve and good time management.
