Job Description
A well‑established business within the construction and logistics sector is looking to appoint a Junior Administration Assistant to support its busy transport team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone organised, motivated, and keen to develop their administrative career within a fast‑paced operational environment.
The Role
Reporting into the transport function, you will play a key part in supporting daily operations, ensuring records are accurate and communication between teams runs smoothly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing material and waste tickets and resolving related queries
- Processing orders for materials and waste services
- Handling incoming calls from clients, drivers, and site teams
- Supporting delivery scheduling and transport coordination
- Maintaining accurate records of orders, deliveries, and site activity
- Preparing and issuing customer invoices linked to material and waste tickets
About You
This role would suit someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and keen to take ownership of their work.
You will ideally have:
- Strong attention to detail
- A confident and professional telephone manner
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisation and time‑management skills
- A proactive and flexible approach
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
