ABOUT US Lost In Cult, established in 2020, is an independent, award-winning design studio and video game culture publishing house which produces products with only the highest quality materials, led by a strong design focus and relentless drive to set new industry standards.
We are intentionally curative in our approach, only working with exceptional brands known for pushing the medium of games forward, with artistic qualities that allow for exquisite deep dive artbooks, vinyl, and other collectible, displayable, and meaningful collectors pieces. THE ROLE We are looking for a Physical Games Production Coordinator to join our growing team, reporting to the Head of Physical Games. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, an interest in print and physical media, and an understanding of the importance of client relationships. Experience of physical games production is preferred but not essential.
The Physical Games Production Coordinator will need to be proactive, adaptable, and organised. They will play an active role in getting our physical games onto cart, disc, other bespoke physical formats, and into the hands of fans. Bringing together different departments to work towards a common goal, they will continue developing processes and identifying areas for improvement within our physical games department. They will balance business priorities with the needs of their own projects, approaching all aspects of physical games production and print manufacture with flexibility and attention to detail. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in managing a physical game project from contract signing through to product delivery. Assist the Head of Physical Games to develop and maintain a detailed master schedule for all physical product SKUs (e.g., standard editions, collector's editions), ensuring key dates are met for submission, manufacturing, and global release. Coordinate the final submission of all production assets, including finalised builds for Nintendo, Sony, And Microsoft, printed packaging artwork, and other manufacturing files, ensuring all files meet vendor technical specifications. Ensure all physical products comply with required regional legal mandates (e.g., CE marks, age ratings) and platform holder guidelines (e.g., Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft certification requirements). Assist the Head of Physical Games in defining all physical components, including disc formats (Blu-ray, cartridge), case types, manuals, slipcovers, and any bundled collector's items. Be the liaison between all parties to ensure a smooth production process. Collaborate with our distribution partner for backend platform submissions, ratings, and other requirements from our distributor, and assist in working towards autonomising these processes within Lost In Cult Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and manufacturers to resolve any technical issues or quality deviations identified during the production run. Assist in developing and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets. Assist the Head of Physical Games to coordinate global logistics, including customs clearance, freight forwarding, and final delivery of finished goods to various distribution centers, warehouses, and direct-to-consumer fulfilment partners. Provide effective communication and timely updates at all stages of the project cycle. Utilise project management software to record and assess project progress. Identify and resolve project issues and risks. Assist in managing changes to the project scope, schedule, and budget. Work with suppliers to deliver products to the quality synonymous with Lost In Cult. Join the Head of Physical Games in reflecting on project progress to celebrate successes and identify areas for development. Engage in opportunities to continue developing at Lost In Cult.
