Engineer / Maintenance Engineer
Hours: 8-5pm Monday - Friday. (Overtime is available and optional)
Salary - £DOE + Annual Profit Bonus.

What You'll Do:
As an Engineer, reporting to an Engineering Manager you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of various production machinery across multiple lines. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preventative Maintenance: Plan and execute maintenance activities to keep our machinery in top shape.
- Quality Checks: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on equipment to maintain high standards.
- Fault Diagnosis: Identify and diagnose equipment faults efficiently and accurately.
- Emergency Repairs: Carry out emergency repairs safely to minimise downtime.
- Procedure Development: Assist in creating and updating maintenance procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of faults, repairs, and testing for continuous improvement.
- Production Support: Help set up production lines and monitor inventory and order spare parts for reactive fixes as and when they occur.
- Collaborative Work: Work closely with Production and Account Managers to ensure seamless operations.
- Varied Duties: Take on other relevant tasks as requested, contributing to the overall success of the team.
What We're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Technical Knowledge: A solid general knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance is essential.
- Engineering Qualification: While an engineering qualification is desirable, it is not mandatory.
- Manufacturing Insight: A good understanding of manufacturing processes will give you an edge.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to tackle challenges and find effective solutions.
- Pressure Resilience: Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Self-Motivated: A proactive approach to your work, with the ability to take initiative.
