As a Healthcare Support Worker – Higher Level , you will be at the heart of patient care, supporting people through some of their most vulnerable moments. You will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality, compassionate care by supporting patients with: Personal care Mobility Mealtimes Toileting Recording vital observations such as temperature, pulse, and respiration Your contribution will directly support patients’ recovery and wellbeing, helping us deliver safe and effective care every day. We recognise that healthcare work can be challenging. The role can be fast‑paced and will involve providing intimate personal care. However, it is also highly rewarding, and you will be supported by a dedicated multidisciplinary team who value your commitment, resilience, and compassion. Please note: We are currently unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role. The Trust is unable to offer sponsorship once right to work expires. For training and operational reasons, applicants must have at least 12 months remaining on their visa at the start of employment Selection Process You will be required to undertake a literacy test as part of the recruitment process, those who pass the assessment will be invited to interview. Main duties of the job Areas of Work & Shift Patterns Emergency Department 08:00 – 20:30 / 20:00 – 08:30 Operating Theatres First 6 months (Monday–Friday): 08:00 – 17:00 / 09:00 – 19:00 After 6 months: Rotation across long day shifts and night shifts Across 7 days a week Clinical Wards 07:30 – 20:00 / 19:30 – 08:00 Inductio
