Financial Assessment Officer

Location: Hybrid / Local Authority setting Contract: Temp, Full-time, 6 months Rate: £28.00 per hour (umbrella) Positions: 2 roles available We are currently seeking two experienced Assessment Officers (Scale 6) to join a busy financial assessments team on a full-time, 6-month contract. This is a hands-on role suited to candidates who are confident managing social care financial assessments and who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced local authority environment. Key Responsibilities Completing financial assessments for care packages in line with current legislation and guidance Managing and reviewing cases accurately within set timescales Liaising with service users, representatives, and internal teams to resolve cases effectively Ensuring assessments are processed to a high standard, with attention to detail and compliance Essential Experience Proven experience undertaking financial assessments for adult social care Strong working knowledge of Mosaic (essential) Experience using Abacus (highly desirable) Confident using multiple IT systems alongside Microsoft Office A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and manage workload What’s on Offer £28.00 per hour umbrella Full-time contract for 6 months Opportunity to work within a supportive and experienced team Immediate starts available for suitable candidates
